Common questions
Will the form match my theme?
Yes. TidyForms reads your theme’s fonts, colours, corner radius and button style, and keeps following them when you switch themes. You can still pick a layout, field style and motion, or add your own CSS on Pro.
What happens if an email or integration fails?
Nothing is lost. Every submission is saved before anything is sent. A failed email, Klaviyo or Sheets delivery retries on its own, and the delivery log shows exactly what happened, with a Retry button.
What happens when I reach my plan’s limit?
Paid plans never pause: we keep collecting and email you at 80% and 100%. On Free we keep accepting up to twice the limit, then show your contact email instead of the form.
Do I need to touch theme code?
No. TidyForms uses Shopify theme app blocks. “Add to page” opens the theme editor with the form placed, and uninstalling leaves nothing in your theme.
What is a conversational form?
A form that asks one question at a time, with big type, keyboard shortcuts and a progress bar, like Typeform. It works well for surveys, quizzes and applications. Any form can switch with one click.
Is spam protection a paid extra?
No. Honeypot, timing checks, rate limits and Turnstile, reCAPTCHA or hCaptcha are on every plan, including Free.
Can I move from another form app?
Yes. Import forms from Shopify Forms, Hulk or Powerful Form Builder, or start from one of 40 templates.
Does it slow my store down?
The form is part of the page’s HTML, and the script that adds logic is kept small and only loads where a form is. It’s built to Shopify’s Built for Shopify performance limits.
